When a tow vehicle is required to assist with something, they arrive at the scene with a massive vehicle, known as a rig. The rig is equipped with all the necessary equipment to remove the object that is being towed and get it safely transported away. It includes an engine, transmission and suspension as well as a braking system.

The driver presses an ignition key to start the engine or use an electric starter box. Next comes gear selection based on the kind of terrain they're traveling on (off-road or urban) the truck is equipped with various gears to allow for greater mobility and traction when transporting items.
